Simple Garlic Lemon Aioli Sauce

Simple Garlic Lemon Aioli Sauce

This simple garlic lemon aioli sauce is so good you will want to dip everything in it! It goes great in wraps for lunch and on sandwiches too! Why buy prepared when fresh aioli is so easy to make?

I prefer to make this one with home-made mayonnaise, so it’s not a real authentic aioli. Rather, this sauce is definitely a cheaters edition. It still tastes great and has a specific tang from the lemon that really brings out the flavors in whatever you put it on. Super simple and tasty, you can whip this up in a jiffy to serve with anything.

Some of my favorite uses for this are with my garlic grilled artichokes and drizzled onto some grilled chicken artichoke wraps for lunch. It pairs nicely with some roasted Parmesan asparagus or air fried garlic broccoli too.

Mixing Up the Sauce

Grab a half of a cup of fresh home-made mayo, or store bought if that’s all you have. Chop up 2 cloves of garlic really finely, like as small as you can cut them. place these 2 ingredients into a bowl and add about a teaspoon of fresh lemon juice and a tablespoon of olive oil with a pinch of salt. Mix well and you are ready to get to dipping.

It’s really that easy! To make it even easier (and because sometimes I’m a lazy cook), go ahead and buy minced garlic in a jar from the produce section at your local store. You can pick up one of those little plastic lemons while you are there and then you really have instant aioli!
